Uses Of Land; Cultivation, Grazing And Road Construction

Land is very important because it is used for many activities.

Cultivation:
Land is used to grow crops like maize, yam, and rice. This means that farmers plant seeds in the soil and take care of the plants until they are ready for harvest.
Grazing:
Land provides food for animals like cows, goats, and sheep. This is called grazing. Animals eat grass and other plants from grazing fields.
Road Construction:
Roads are built on land to help us move from one place to another. This makes transportation easy and fast.
