God the Creator
A creator is someone who makes something therefore God is the the creator because he made everything in the world. He is all-powerful, invisible, and holy.
Memory Verse
“In the beginning, God created the heaven and the earth.”
– Genesis 1:1
Who Is God?
God is the maker of everything. He is not a human being but a spirit. He was not created by anyone. He has no beginning and no end. Christians believe that God is the Almighty Father who loves and cares for His creation.
Attributes of God
These are special qualities that describe who God is:
- Omnipotent – God is all-powerful. He can do anything.
- Omniscient – God knows everything, even our thoughts.
- Omnipresent – God is everywhere at the same time.
- Holy – God is pure and without sin.
- Invisible – We cannot see God with our eyes.
What God Created
According to the Bible in Genesis 1, God created many things including:
- The sky, land, and sea
- The sun, moon, and stars
- Plants and trees
- Fish, birds, and animals
- Man and woman
God looked at all He made and said it was good.
