What is Family History?

Family history means knowing about our family’s traditions, values, and stories. 

IMPORTANCE OF FAMILY HISTORY

  • It helps the child to know his parents/ancestors
  • To know where he/she comes from
  • To know the meaning and importance of
    surname.
  • To forecast the future
  • To avoid repeating same mistakes of the past
  • To present factual information

Evaluation:

Ask the following questions to evaluate the lesson

  2. Can you mention 3 importance of knowing your family history?
