Furnishing are furnitures, fittings and decorative accessories in a home.
Types Of Home Furnishing
- Furniture: These are movable objects that are designed to support various human activities, such as seating, sleeping, and storage. They include; Chairs, reading tables, Bed, Canter table, Stools, foot rests, head lamps, etc.
- Fittings: These are fixed or attached elements that contribute to the overall functionality and ease in the home, they can’t be moved around like furniture. They include ; doorknobs, handles, faucets (water taps), Showers, Wardrobe, Bathtub, WC Toilets, ceiling fans and light fixtures, etc.
- Decorative Accessories: These are ornamental items that enhance the visual appeal of a space. Examples include throw pillows, artwork, vases, candles, mirrors, rugs, photo frames, decorative bowls, statues, and bookends.
