Meaning:
NAFDAC stands for the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control. This agency ensures the safety and quality of food and drugs in Nigeria.
Duties of NAFDAC:
Their duties include;
- Inspecting and regulating the manufacture, importation, exportation, distribution, and sale of food, drugs, and cosmetics.
- Ensuring that these products are safe for consumption.
- Taking action against companies that do not follow safety standards.
How The officials dress:
Their officials usually wear uniforms that have the NAFDAC logo. They also carry identification badges to show they are part of the agency. Their uniform helps people easily identify them when they are performing their duties.
