Meaning of Pulley
A pulley is a simple machine that helps to lift heavy objects with less effort. It consists of a wheel with a groove around it, and a rope that fits into the groove.
Pulleys are used in many places such as construction sites, elevators, and flagpoles. They make work easier by changing the direction of the force needed to lift an object.
