Classroom Note:
Cleaning And Arranging The Bedroom
Keeping our bedrooms clean and organized is very important. The following are five ways to arrange furniture in our bedrooms:
- Keep your bed away from the door to make the room look bigger.
- Place the study table near the window for natural light.
- Keep the toy chest at the foot of the bed for easy access.
- Arrange the bookshelf next to the study table to keep books within reach.
- Ensure there is enough walking space between furniture.
Materials used for cleaning the bedroom:
- Microfiber cloths – for dusting and wiping surfaces.
- Disinfectant sprays – to keep the surfaces germ-free.
- Dusters – for removing dust from corners and delicate items.
- Vacuum cleaner – for cleaning the floor and carpets.
- Mop and bucket – for cleaning hard floors.
Lesson Evaluation:
To evaluate the learning, the teacher asks pupils to:
- Name three materials used for cleaning a bedroom.
- Describe how to arrange the furniture in a bedroom to make it look spacious.
- List two reasons why it is important to keep your bedroom clean.
- Show how you would arrange your study area within your bedroom.
