Cleaning the toilet and the bathroom

Cleaning the toilet and bathroom is important to keep our environment healthy and free from germs.

Steps for Cleaning the Bathroom:

Remove all items from the bathroom.
Sweep and dust the bathroom.
Apply cleaning solution to the sink, tub, and shower.
Scrub all surfaces thoroughly.
Rinse and dry all surfaces.
Clean the mirrors and windows.
Mop the floor and replace all items.

Steps for Cleaning the Toilet:

Flush the toilet to wet the inside.
Apply toilet cleaner inside the bowl.
Scrub the bowl with a toilet brush.
Clean the toilet seat, lid, and outside of the bowl.
Disinfect the flush handle.
Mop the floor around the toilet.

Similarities:

Both require removing items first.
Both need sweeping or dusting initially.
Both use cleaning solutions.
Both require scrubbing.
Both need the surfaces to be rinsed and dried.

Differences:

Different cleaning solutions are used.
Toilets require a brush for the bowl.
Bathrooms have more surfaces to clean (sink, tub, shower).
Toilets need extra disinfecting on the handle.
The focus on hygiene is higher for toilets.
