Violent offences are any actions where someone uses force to hurt another person. These can be very serious and scary, it’s important we all understand what they mean. examples of violent offences includes:
- Hitting or slapping
- Using a weapon to threaten or hurt someone
- Pushing or shoving in a harmful way
- Kicking or punching
- Rape
- Any other action where someone is physically hurt on purpose
Lesson Evaluation:
To evaluate the learning, the teacher asks pupils to:
- What is a violent offence?
- Can you list two examples of violent offences?
- Why is it important to tell an adult if you see someone being violent?
