Changes in Plants:

Plants go through different changes during their life cycle. These changes are essential for their growth and survival.

Some of these changes are;

– Leaf fall

When the tree doesn’t need the leaves to make food anymore, it lets them go.
This is a natural process to conserve energy during the winter months.

– Color of leaves

Leaves are usually green because of a pigment called chlorophyll.
In the fall, as the days get shorter and there is less sunlight, the chlorophyll breaks down. That’s why leaves change color.

– Flowers and fruits

Flowers are an important part of a plant’s life cycle. They contain the reproductive parts of the plant.

When a plant is ready to reproduce, it produces flowers with bright colors and sweet scents to attract pollinators like bees and butterflies.
