Lesson Content/Note
Jesus Gave His Life for Us on the Cross
Jesus Christ gave His life for us as a sign of His great love and obedience to God’s will. The Bible says in John 3:16, “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.”
Reasons Why Jesus Gave His Life for Us
- It Was God’s Will: Jesus came to fulfill God’s plan to save mankind.
- To Save Us from Sin: Through His death, He paid the price for our sins.
- To Reconcile Us to God: Jesus’ sacrifice brought us closer to God.
- Because He Loved the World: As stated in John 15:13-14, Jesus’ love for humanity is the greatest love of all.
Significance of Jesus’ Sacrifice
- It shows the depth of God’s love for humanity.
