Meaning of Population
Population means the number of people living in a place. It can be a small number or a large number. People live in places like towns, villages, and cities.
Why We Need to Provide Adequate Housing
When more people live in a place, they need more houses. Good houses help people to live well and stay healthy.
These include:
- To prevent people from sleeping outside
- To give everyone a safe place to live
- To stop sickness caused by dirty places
- To make families happy and comfortable
- To help children grow up well
