Minimize and Restore Button

In a word processing software, the minimize button is used to reduce the window to the taskbar, allowing you to hide it without closing it. This means that the window is still running, but it is not visible on your screen. The restore button is used to bring the window back to its original size after minimizing.

Steps to Minimize a Window:

Click on the minimize button (represented by a dash “–” in the upper right corner).
The window will disappear and be reduced to the taskbar.

Steps to Restore a Window:

Click on the program icon in the taskbar.
The window will reappear on the screen.

Quitting the Word Processing Software:

Quitting the software means closing the word processor entirely, ending all operations. Here are the steps:

Click on the “X” button at the top right corner of the window.
If there are unsaved changes, you will be prompted to save or discard them.
Select your preferred option, and the program will close.
